About Us

About Sports Focus

Sports Focus is a Regional Sports Assembly that was established in 1983 by Sport & Recreation Victoria to provide better support to sports clubs in central Victoria.

We are a non-profit organisation which aims to support and empower sporting clubs to be more safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces for the broader community to enjoy sport and active recreation.

Through our extensive network of partners that include, but aren’t limited to; State Government, Local Government Authorities, Health Services, Education and Sport, we aim to engage and enable communities to shape their future health and wellbeing.

About the Community Sport Partnerships program

Through our new Community Sport Partnerships program, we aim to support local, grassroots sporting clubs to be the best they can be - whether that be by supporting your club to communicate better with your members, or by helping you to organise your committee meetings.

Our new Community Sport Partnerships program goes above and beyond to support your club. Let our consultant guide you to the services that fit your club’s needs. This program runs as a fee-for-service and we can work with you to develop a proposal that suits your club. We can also support to apply for funding if required. Let us take some pressure off your valuable volunteers, streamline processes and upskill.
